Concerned Residents Against Pistol Range Redondo

LEAD , NOISE …

Call to action is needed. Our public and elected officials of Redondo Beach and Torrance have failed to protect the citizens!

An action committee of concerned residents has formed to deal with the cities of Redondo Beach and Torrance officials that have not taken action concerning lead and noise pollution emitting from the Redondo Beach Pistol Range.

We need your help to document any time that you have contacted city departments to complain about the noise coming from the Redondo Beach Police Pistol Range.

Also if you have not complained in the past and would like do so, now would be the time !

Please CLICK HERE to take a very brief survey. This is also the place to go to provide CRAPRR with your experiences concerning the noise from the Redondo Beach Pistol Range.

Redondo Beach Pistol Range is located at 1513 Beryl St. Redondo Beach California

3/18/08 Video replay 35 Minutes 45 Seconds: Torrance Citizen speaker Ted Borgess brings up to Mayor Scotto and Council that lead bullet fragments are being found around residences and Towers School coming from RBPD range and action needs to be taken. Mayor says “staff will contact you”. ( Staff did not contact Ted).

3/18/08 Video replay  41 Minutes 45 Seconds: Torrance Citizen speaker Eugene Petzold brings up to Mayor Scotto and Council that noise and lead bullet fragments must be addressed. Mayor advises Mr. Petzold that he would be best served by addressing Redondo Beach city council and there is nothing the city of Torrance can do. If Mr. Petzold has no luck with Redondo Beach city then “come back and talk to city of Torrance”.

There is so much more to this story folks. So little time for us to document all the crap that has gone on but, hopefully one day the streets of Redondo and Torrance will be safe from the noise and lead issue.
